How do I know what type of 4 speed transmission I have in my 1964 lemans?

It is the same 4-speed Muncie used in the GTO- am I wrong? I frequently am- come on Goat Guys, I defy you to call me stupid-

If it's a muncie the linkage for reverse will be in the tail of the tranny . It could also be a saginaw or a T-10.
