What is the most probable cause for complete electrical failure?
I started the car with no issues, once I pulled on the headlight switch the car died and I had lost all electrical power.
Check the wiring down by the starter. Make sure everything is clean and tight. If you still have the negative (-) battery cable bolted to the exhaust manifold, move it to the power steering pump mounting bracket. Power comes in from the battery. A catastrophic failure like this is going to be battery related. HTH. -Jim
