it doesn't really matter where it comes from,van nuys or new york . Standard engine on those cars were the straight OHC 6 250ci. after that is the 350 & the high performance 400. the vin describes the body style, year & plant it was built at & production number not the drive train.

im pretty sure the 350 V8 was the most produced model in 1968.
