Total production of the '67 Bonneville Convertible (Model #26267) was 8902. I don't have a breakdown of production and accessories. But I can tell you that was an expensive and unusual car when it was new. The two accessories that caught my eye are the disc brakes and the Comfortron Air Conditioning (automatic climate control). Nobody ordered them. Comfortron Air Conditioning was first introduced in 1964 and was a Cadillac only option. By '67 it was available at other GM divisions but nobody ordered it because it was very expensive. Not many people were ordering plain air conditioning yet. The first car my family had with air conditioning and disc brakes was a '73 Ford LTD. In fact even at Cadillac air conditioning didn't become standard until 1975. Nobody ordered disc brakes because it seemed, at the time, an unnecessary expense. You might try contacting the Pontiac-Oakland Club. They might have more specific production figures. You can also contact Allied Vaughn with your vehicle identification number and for $50 get a copy of the factory to dealer invoice for your specific car. HTH. -Jim
I have to laugh, I've got 3 67 Bonneville convertibles with A/C and one of them with the climate control A/C I had no idea that A/C was a rare option.
My 67 Cougar had factory air.
