Did you just buy gas?. Seems like a lot of people are complaining about similar problems which I guess to be because of bad gas. There are products like Drygas which contain ethanol which might help your car run better.

Does the engine rev up but the car still goes slowly? Is it slightly better when the car is cold than it is when things warm up a bit. Could the bad smell be a burning clutch? I suspect your clutch, either worn out or failing to engage properly for some reason. Any good repair shop will be able to handle it. No need to go to the dealer if that's what it is.
