Won't start

I had a friend that ran old oil in my truck. The truck
then startes up run for a second as I went to pull
off it blow white smoke out the exhaust and shut
off. Now it acts like it wants to start but won't start
up. Any ideas what is wrong with my truck?

well if it's "Blowin the blues" pull a sparkplug...will tell you the state of your engine~

the critical areas....Air, Fuel, Spark and Timing...if it quits...one of these critical concerns are at fault...would hazard to guess the battery is gettin' old now....so a NEW battery will assure Strong spark...what you don't want is a corroded connection from the battery Black to the engine....and to the chassis....this 40 amp cable must be free of corrosion and connected to an healthy NEW battery~
