A.I.V canister (secondary air intake)

I'm trying to find a good A.I.V canister or secondary air intake because the
one on my truck is completely rusted! I can't find one at any of the local auto
stores and I've called a few auto salvage places and they don't know what
the heck I'm even talking about or asking for most of the time. Is there a work
around in case I can't find a replacement? It's a 1987 Nissan D21 pickup
truck, 4 cylinder engine standard transmission.

If it's the charcoal evap can you're talking about I would get what ever I could and jerry rig it in there , It's not like polar bears will start dropping dead because it's not proper .
