My 1989 Nissan Maxima has no markings. I need to replace the brake master cylinder and the guy at the auto parts store needed to know if it was an SE or GXE. How can I find out since it is not marked

Check what engine is in it, usually different models had different engine's This MIGHT help for general info, but im not sure because I didn't read it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_Maxima#1989.E2.80.931994
