my digital spedometer does not work?

The silver box behind your dash. It's just to the right side bottom of your gauge cluster when you remove it. some of the wiring from the gauge cluster will go into this box. usually the soldering breaks and it loses contacts and causes your dash to go black. you can remove it and repair it yourself or buy a replacement unit.
