Can I receive instructions and photos to replace inboard driveshaft bearings?

Asked by Trevor Mar 11, 2008 at 08:54 AM about the 1988 Audi 80

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am an experienced mechanic on Peugeots.  I want to help a friend replace his inboard driveshaft bearings on a 1988 diesel Audi 80 manual, no ABS brakes.  (here in Belgium)Do you have the procedure written down for us?  Photos would help too. Thanks.

You might want to "google" --> "1988 Audi 80 repair manual" this should show you where to buy a repair manual. I dont think that Haynes or Chiltons make a manual for this model. Have you tried to get this info from the dealer?

Yes, I would try to get info from the dealer, or from Alldata.com, which is a site where mechanics can get this sort of info online.
