When driving my 2007 Sante fe there is an annoying whistling sound at 100k. I taped all areas eg windshield etc. Anyone have a similiar problem or a solution. The dealer is mistyfied.
Sounds like you have the same problem as I do. I drive a 2004 Santa Fe, and starting this summer, I started hearing a whistling sound as soon as I go over 80km/h. I tried tapping around the windshield thinking it was some kind of gasket problem, but it didn't stop. With the recent snow fall we've been getting, the whistling seemed to have stopped. I'm now wondering if it has something to do with the bug deflector attached to the hood. I'll have to take it off and see if it makes a difference. Have you been able to figure out the problem?
a bug reflector will cause a noise, also check all rubber around doors.
Please check if sunroof is closed properly, also if fresh air switch is on then make sure all air vents grills on the are fully opened.thanks
