cr overheats when temp outside reaches 70 degrees. removed thermostst, full of water. runs fine, overheats and stalls sputters and runs like crap. is head gasket gone?
See other post. You need to do a cooling system pressure test to determine head gasket failure, or a compression test on each cylinder.
Could be a clogged Radiator, or the engine block could have a blockage somewhere. Take the Tstat completely out and drive without it. Is the coolant clean or rust colored? Also, does the heat work?
my has the same problem and no the heat doesn't work.
My Tech replaced the stock fan motor with a more powerful one that eliminated the overheating problem
