3500 rpm and 70 mph ...chokes a bit

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car has low 30k miles.   When accelerating or pushed hard on the hwy sometimes
chokes a bit looses power and then back to normal .    Everything else is perfect.

If it is choking then you should see black smoke out of the tailpipe, it is more likely that it is starving for fuel, you need to have the fuel pressure and flow tested.

more like a misfire ..rather than choking. it is sporadic and annoying..happens 5to 10 times in 100 miles high speed
