batt and oxy light stay on.

1982 air cooled westy runs good new battery had oxygen sensor replaced 2
years ago. Motor has less than 1000 miles on it.I cannot figure out why the
batt light and oxygen light on the dash will not go out.

AF ratio can be off lean/rich and the charging system can be sub standard old '82 its almost like restoring when you service these vintage vehicles. Check all the wiring connections and harness.. is the tail pipe black and sooty..fluffy carbon =rich remove a spark plug and read it or use a gas analyzer for AF ratio HC CO Nox C02 if available.
