today as i was driving and turned off on me, and it stated smoking and leaking oil. i was able to turn it back on and make it to my house., but almost for every stop ill come to it'll turn of again..does any body know what that means? did it overheat?

1 Answer

Check the oil.. and check your belt. I recenlty over heated mine cuz it shreded the belt which let the back fan cool the engine. Also when I g8t the bug I put toooo much oil . If uhave too much oil theoil will find away out to get rid of it. Causing it to leak on hot surfaces- then too little oil will give u problems of shuttinh off. Also check if the carb is adjusted correctly
