Where can I find a fuel trap and clip to hold it in place for a 1974 SuperBeetle?

Asked by Jun 12, 2016 at 12:14 PM about the 1974 Volkswagen Beetle

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

have a 1974 Superbeetle that is leaking fuel from the existing fuel trap. Upon inspection, found a slight crack where one of the fuel lines connects on the drivers side, makes it impossible to cinch the hose on tight enough to avoid leaks. Also missing one of the clips that hold it to the frame of the vehicle. My local guy says they aren't made anymore and I need to look online. Thoughts?
