when i turn my headlights on a fuse blows also no tail lights

as soon as I pull the headlight switch a fuse blows immediately also no tail light but front parking lights work

Short in the rear wiring, the wires can be damaged by something getting kicked up on the road and ripping the wires from the lamp assemblies, so check both sides if those are good then pull the rear lamp assemblies apart and look for bad sockets, cross- circuited bulbs.
