I have a 69 beetle with a stick automatic,can i remove the automatic and install a standard

transmission?Also is there provision for a clutch cable in the center frame tube?

Your better bet would be to try to find one with a standard transmission. Switching from auto to standard is a job typically best done at the factory before everything is finished. It may not even be possible depending on your vehicle.
