Dear ragsbug-- Money talks and you can get anything you want done to your 1964 Volkswagen Beetle. Find an honest custom shop (or two) and see if they can do the work for a decent price. Expect to pay up to $1,000 for this, as it takes nearly an entire day of a technicians time. Good luck from Bovan.
