62 bug throttle sticking all the way to the floor

My gas pedal sticks all the way the floor , when I
manually pull the peddle back the engine continues
to rev. Any suggestions ?

I bet the butterfly get stuck on wide open. You will have to manually stop it and reattach the spring. I hope that's your problem. Easy fix
