yes,I put a nrw air filter in.When I start the engine it will run ok til it warms up then when i try to give it some gas it sputters out and dies. It will start back up but does the same thing again and again.

If you have this style intake (see picture) there bad for the rubber gasket under the throttle body cracking, when running take the air intake pipe off to expose the throttle body then grab the body with both hands and gentle try to wiggle it back and forth if the engine changes rpm or stalls replace that gasket its like 18 bucks a vdub dealer easy fix. Your intake will look different then this picture cause this one was modified, but the part at the back of the engine where the throttle body is (red cover, yours will be black) thats the part you want to take off and do as mentioned. It may be a weak ignition coil as well.
