I have Manual jeep Comanche 4X4 and I am trying to figure out how to get it out of four wheel drive. You have to back up to get ino 4wd but I don't know how to get back to 2wd

You have to put it in neutral then shift from 4wheel to 2wheel then back up a few feet to disengage the hubs or it wont ever shift out but u wont have power to the front wheels but it will still stay locked in and eventually burn up the hubs and transfer case
