Jeep Radiator

Asked by Nov 07, 2010 at 10:52 PM about the 1972 Jeep Wagoneer

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Anybody know if the radiator in a '72 Wagoneer with a straight 6 is the same as the 8 Cyl model?

3 Answers

It should be the same,as long as it is a 4 core radiator.

I'm not quite sure how to figure that out, but all I have seen when trying to find a new one is reference to a 3 core and that states that it is for an 8 Cyl. Haven't yet found any listing for a 6 Cyl.

the radiator 3 & 4 core should be 3 to 4 inches wide, the top of it.
