the back storage area leaks

this is my mother in law's 2007 liberty.she told me the back storage area was soaking wet first time sense she has owned it.has anyone else had this problem or is this a known issue?

drill a small hole where the water's poolin' up...look for a new and improved seal~ check for a forum on this subject as yours isn't gonna be the first time in history that this has happened~ yahoo answers sometimes has the answer~

don't drill a hole! dry it and find the problem.... sounds like a seal and if it just started look at the deck lid(hatch) seal around the windows if its not cold there use a water hose and have someone inside looking for it to get wet... wow drill a hole! sure let more moisture get in maybe fumes and die! don't drill a hole please... hope this helps

I would guess it's around the window. ..because of the unibody the body can shift and settle over time especially when the miles. Start getting up there. This is a problem with other Cherokee I know.
