battery light is on

I bought a new battery sometime last year,  My battery light is now on,  I
tested the battery and alternator, Battery bad alternator good,  I put a new
battery in last week and the battery light came back on.  i had the battery
checked again and it came up bad charging system, voltage regulation fail,
diodes passed and blank for charging current,  I'm assuming its the voltage
regulator.  Can you help please btw its a 2016 dodge grand caravan

Unfortunately, the charging system is controlled by the computer, and that is where the voltage regulator is located, it is not serviceable. Not the first time I've seen the computer on a Chrysler needing replaced due to charging system problems. Best to go with Chrysler parts, as a lot of aftermarket computers just don't work. Plus you will most likely need it flashed to your vehicle. Sorry
