Question type: Car Customization

ive nearly overhauled whole truck in the last 7 yrs started with a factory 318 to custom 360 swap and kept factory trans. well ive killed the trans twice since so now I have swapped the factory trans (don't remember specific number) to a A727 which is designed to match motor. well ive completely installed new trans to motor and linkage and was bout to slide drive shaft in but it doesn't fit (of course its my luck). so if I order a new driveshaft does that mean I need to change yoke on axle or worse whole reaxle???

Just get the slip yoke for a 727 and a joint to match and put it on your existing driveline, as long as it is the proper length you should be good to go.
