A '78 model is not computer controlled. A '99 model is. So I second that no. HTH. -Jim

but.teck wise he can run the 909/707,and do away with the a500 ,but heres the thing.. he said >Can a 1978 transmission fit a 1999* but his car in question says a 1989 above.....
