Question type: Maintenance & Repair

is the wiring/being 6 v./ a positive or negative ground? and which wire from the battery goes to the ignition switch... and which one goes to the coil?

I don't believe American cars ever employed the Electron Flow model of electricity, so the ground should still be negative. The wire that goes to the ignition switch, goes through the switch, to the primary winding coil.

I have a 1954 PW and it is positive ground.
