Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1975 dodge 318 van rv supposedly with a
5000 mile year old engine replacement has
been recently repaired for a new starter ,
spark plugs and wires. I drove it out of
mechanic shop and within 1 mile i think it
was a whitish smoke coming from
underneath the area where the spark plugs
are . it comes from undet a steel case
looking area on the right side passenger
area if looking at engine from inside the
vans covering of the engine. It began to stall
and stopped starting until it cooled down
and i started again no problem but a mile
later same thing

Take it back to the shop and have them sort it out. Sounds like something is not hooked up properly.
