i recently had transmission flushed new pan and fluid now i have no reverse.do i need a new transmission or is it something minor
It sounds like when they did the flush so of the debris got logged in the passes of the transmission. I'm not a fan of flushing because this like this happen...It will need to go to a transmission shop to be looked over..http://mdhmotors.com/transmission-flush-when-and-when-not-to-flush-transmission/
I would agree with the web site joemom suggested. I routinely flush my SL every 36k miles because it is a MB required maintenance while it is still under warranty. However, every other manufacture that I am aware of usually recommends flushes every 100k miles. I personally feel an MB trany can go 100k with no problems at all. But MB is betting you will come to their dealer and pay WAY TO MUCH every 36K miles.
