Volkswagen Cabriolet 1992

I just found one for sale, 141,000 miles on it, am I crazy to buy it?  I'm going to get it checked out by a mechanic . . . any chance it'll last me at least a year?

i have the mk 3, soft top. its great to drive and looks the muts nuts, get it mate, provided its all o.k.
