The RPM's are going up high and taking a while to shift
miles or km? and that sounds like it may jsut need a top up on the trany fluid. If your going to top it up i would recommend replacing it and the trany filter. If this does not fix the problem then its a bit more serious. Before this did you ever have no power in the car or removed the battery or relays and harnesses?
mine is having same issue, if i may ask, what was the fix in your case devin for this high rpm issue while shifting 1st gear because on my case it is not the tranny fluid and yes i have disconnected harnesses and the battery a couple of months ago!
if your having issues changing gears it can be one of 2 things " worn out gears or a bad torque convertor. I would say its likely the trany has worn out gear.
