I found a 2003 volkswagon beetle convert able with 109 k miles on it it looks like new on the body and interior is custom pink is this a good deal for $4800

Unless you like dealing with electrical issues, then maybe, but I would look at another vehicle if i was you.

Here's the thing... on an 11 year old car, looks is a pretty minor thing... so you need to first get it checked out by a mechanic... at that point in time if everything checks out, go in with a low offer because with a pink interior, there aren't going to be tons of buyers... so you are going to drive it for however how long and then there is going to be no resale/trade-in value other than maybe a grand... so I wouldn't go more than 3k on it... that way if there are an issues that come up, you have 1800 banked that you can use to address...
