2003 Volkswagen Jetta?
I'm looking at purchasing at 2003 Volkswagen Jetta for $2500 from a friend of mine. My
question is, would a Jetta, esp. a used one, be reliable? I dont want to waste my money
on a car that isnt worth shit. I like the way the car drives, and it seems to be in relative
good condition for being 10 years old. Is it worth it?
Buy a Toyota..you will not be disappointed....have enjoyed the hell out of my 88 Quantum before it literally rusted apart from under me....SALT in Milwaukee will gobble down your chassis leaving you with a "sun floor" which gets your suede shoes full of salt water that cannot be cleaned~ In my experience the new VW's are kinda difficult to work on...and if after ten years has wracked up 100,000 miles I'd take a moonwalk backwards and buy a Toyota...not a Honda....a Toyota...they are the BEST...wife's father was a parts inspector for EATON and said every single one of the Toyota parts measured "spot on" DavidH25 our Toyota expert insists on them and showed naughty pictures of a front end collision and said "this wan't the CAR's fault"~ bottom line...stay away~
