Does a "VW Golf mk4 1600, 2003 model" have a EGR valve?
I have a mk4 Golf 2003 model, having trouble with the engine cutting out and eratic idling. This mostly happens during summer times and (or) when driving in traffic.
In the morning (Everyday) when the car is still cold, pulling alway it feels like something is holding it back and then release again.
I need urgent help, as they dont pick up anything on the VAG COM

Yes it does, you can remove and clean the carbon out and check all the vac lines attached to it for cracks or blockages.
Hi Tom, thanks very much for that information. The reason why i asked that question because i phoned a spare shop and they needed a part number to check if they have the right EGR valve for my vehicle, so i decided to phone the dealer, gave my vin number and they said my car dont have a EGR valve. Will do as you said and get back to you and this one. Thanks
