oil for a 2004 bug
I took my 2004 vw bug for a simple oil change and as I drove off it sounded like a sputter!! It's running very rough.... Could they have used the wrong oil to make it rattle in the engine? NEED HELP...
maybe they but to much oil in the motor
sputterz & running rough could also be a fuel system problem. the coulda disco'd something on accident or loosened something within the fuel system...lines/hoses/filter/etc. when idling...speedomter bounces around like crazy??? for a car to run systematically perfect consists of spark & fuel. the oil is just the life blood of the car. oil ISNT gonna make a car sputter....IN MOST CASES. its its a shit ton of oil over-added...ur gonna typically see leaks...the seals will wind up getting shot. ive heard bad bad horror stories of people taking they're car/truck in for an oil change & the tech forgot to put the drain plug back in. forgot to put on a oil filter. "check for leaks." if its just a lil oil over-added...ur car will just burn up the excess. check the drain plug. see if its there & tightly on. check the oil filter. make sure its there & is tightly on. if ur not mechanically inclined enuff to do an oil change urself...id have it done at a dealer. A CERTIFIED VW DEALER. it doesnt matter if its an oil change or an engine overhaul. u dont want a guy that works on 20dif vehicles a day or is mainly exp in fords to work on a vw. u wanna guy that has been workin on vws' day in...day out. dealers are much more insured for anything to happen thats bad than a mom & pop shop & a jiffy lube...econo lube & tune...etc.
