Only driver's window works.

Asked by Azaima May 05, 2013 at 01:56 AM about the 2006 Subaru Outback

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I can't open the passenger window or the two rear windows. The only one that works is
the driver's window. Is this some child safety feature I can turn off or is there some
problem? If there is a child safety setting on the windows, where is it and how can I turn it
off again?

Agree with Julian above, easy to accidently hit that window lock button accidentally during the Winter, and wonder why the other windows won't work in Spring. My Impreza same thing.

I've been driving around for three months without the ability to open any window other than the driver's window. Thought it might be a fuse. It was indeed, the "safety" lock button on the driver's window button array. Thanks for the info!
