99 SL1 auto trns has slight miss or engine roughness when foot is lifted off brake pedal. also engine misses slightly when brake pedal is applied

well if you did in fact have a miss fire, it would throw a code. Im guessing the rpms drop when you brake

maybe have a brake power booster leaking- plug the vacuum line going to vacuum booster under hood- see if engine smoothes out
