Why won't my car start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Changed the alternator and now acts like not getting gas. What  could  cause this to  happen?

Did you disconnect the battery before you started to replace the alternator? If you did then it is possible that the anti-thieft system has been activated, your owners manual will tell you how to turn it off. If you didn't disconnect the battery, then it is possible that you have blown a main fuse, look in the power distribution box for those. HTH
