Clutch pedal bump

Asked by Mar 20, 2010 at 09:22 PM about the 1999 Saab 9-3

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Occasionally whenever I depress the clutch in my 1999 9-3, it feels like it catches on something. It doesn't happen very often when I drive, but when my dad drove it, it happened many times. I looked under the dash and it appears to be catching on the plastic of the dashboard that is directly to the left of the pedal arm. I don't know if this is the only cause of it or there is more to it. Is there more to the problem, and is there anything I can do about it?

could you upload a picture of the pedals ? like a under dash-photo. If there i slack on the clutch pedal, the bolting system is come loose, send it in to rep.
