what does it mean when the engine light flashes and say Stability Control Failure
When the CEL, Check Engine Light lights up the DTC, or Diagnostic Trouble Code system aka OBDII has detected a fault somewhere. When the CEL light flashes, it means it needs immediate attention, a more serious problem than a steady light, say, gas cap loose. Now, whenever the DTC detects a problem in the drive train, the ECU will automatically shut off the VSC, Vehicle Stability Control. The 'brain; will not allow any non-driver input, brakes or power, to any wheels. Which is what VSC does. It does not mean there is anything wrong with your VSC, But you do need an OBDII scan asap. to troubleshoot, Get the code(s) and come back here
