I drive a 04 saab 93. When I step down on the gas pedal it doesnt take off right away. It takes about 4 seconds to take off. It happens every time I stop on a light and the same problem occurs.

I believe that is because you have a digital gas pedal. It isn't physically connected with a cable linkage but it is electronically connected and has a sensor in the pedal to determine how deep it is pressed. That sensor then tells a solenoid in the engine how much gas throttle to give the engine. If this is a new issue that wasn't before, then I would recommend replacing the gas pedal. It isn't a complex thing. Unscrew the old one, I believe with a torx head, unplug the sensor wire connector. Stick the new one in and plug it in. then screw it back into place. That should remove the lag you are experiencing.

If that doesn't fix it check for vacuum leaks. Cracked hose etc.

I had my car checked by a mechanic and its the turbo charge that needs to be replace. Thanks
