I'm going to suggest the connection from the battery negative...to the engine...and to the chassis...yes the CABLE capable of 80 amps...make sure the battery is new...and not 5 years old...so full potential...not dropping under load can be realized~ the electronics are delicate and need to see clean power not dropping under load~ new cables and battery should be the recipe for the problem here~

This may be related to the antitheft system The system is known for turning off the starter and/or injectors when it fails. Normally when the injectors are turned off, the car will run for a second or two, and then stall. Is there a light on the dash that says SECURITY or a picture of a car with a lock through it? This is a common problem worth looking into. http://www.diy-gm- security.com/ & http://newrockies.com/
