Why does my speedometer not work

First thing I'd suspect is the vehicle speed sensor on the transmission. HTH. -Jim

just replaced one of those on my 91 chevy lumina 3.1 . a real bugger to get to. had to jack up the car and remove the passenger side wheel to get my fat arms in there to get at it. tough, but not impossible.
