I got my 2006 galant about 2 years ago now. lately its been kinda clunky with the tranny, so I
got the car picked up on a hoist and did a little looking around, only to find the transmission
mount is completely broke.. I'd buy a new one..if I could.. only problem is whenever I look up
"transmission mount" I got the part the trans mounts onto.. I need the part thats attached to
the trans, that attaches to the mount..
its almost as if it looks like the part itself is part of the trans, but upon close inspection, its
clear to me that its a seperate part...
any idea what this part is actually called? and where I can find out outside of a dealership?
napa doesn't sell it either.
Which transmission mount is it? Is it the rear mount or front? Not real clear which parti of the mount it is that you need, but I would suggest checking out Ebay, otherwise oemmitsubishiparts.com is very cheap for replacement parts. They are a dealer, but the prices are extremely low and worth looking into.
you should be able to get the mount at any parts store,it may have to be ordered,NAPA is the last place I go to for parts, they done got to where they cant get or have nothing you need.
I accidently made this thread twice. I posted all the pictures I have of it on the other thread. but I'll post again anyway.
its the rear one. and I cant look it up on ebay because I dont know the exact name of the part im looking for.
