my mazda pick up truck is stuck in 4wd,how do i fix the problem

The most common failure on these is the transfer case shift motor, you can try tapping lightly on the motor while someone pushes the 2WD button, sometimes this will jar the internal brushes just enough to make it run long enough to get you into 2WD and you can replace it later on.
