I need help! I have a 2006 Mazda Tribute. 6 cylinder. 3.0 L engine. Everything mechanical in my car has been replaced. New engine. New water pump. New radiator. New O2 sensors. New thermostat.
All 3 catalytic converters are new.... the car
will start...will run with no issues.
However..one of the catalytic converters is
still overheating and turning cherry red.
Everything is brand new....WHAT IS
know any way to figure out which fuel injector it is? My car has 6 and cost right at 200 dollars a piece...don't really want to just guess and replace until i find it spending that kind of money.
Sorry, I looked again, seems that red glowing convertor is from a lean condition or clogged cat. Do you have a CEL on, and misfires? How does it idle? Check the fuel pressure.
