I had a new transmission put in for my 2006 Lexus rx330, when I got it back the VSC light was on.

Asked by Aug 19, 2015 at 02:25 PM about the 2006 Lexus RX 330

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Mechanic told me to take it to a Lexus dealership to get it taken care of, he also told me
not to tell them I had my transmission replaced. Why would I not tell them? What does
this mean?

Mechanics and shops hate fixing other people's mistakes. Especially a dealer! You won't have to tell them you had the transmission replaced. A Lexus Dealer will know. Take your mechanic's advice. Take it back to Lexus. HTH. -Jim
