how do I adjust the idle speed 2006 kia sedona

Asked by May 13, 2013 at 04:56 PM about the 2006 Kia Sedona

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

seems like the idle adjustment (screw or stop?) suddenly failed or fell off. Engine will idle
fine if I put something to stop the  throttle linkage from retreating too far.

Fuel injected cars don't have adjustable idle screws. You might have a vacuum leak or something else has failed. Get the codes read at the parts store. Write down the trouble code number if there is one and post it here. Someone will advise the most cost effective solution. There may be pending codes that have not lit the CEL yet.
