do 16 Inch rims take awy from integrity of the 2006 Jeep wrangler Sport RHD
My tire size is currently 225 75R/16 and I want to get the best performance in snow & ice & gravel roads
I've had real good luck on my jeep by using an all terrain tire, but staying with the stock size, very good in powder snow, ok on hard pack snow, very good on gravel and mud, but ice is a different story, the only thing that really works on that stuff is a good set of chains in 4WD on the front tires, and if your really serious all 4 wheels, I haven't found any road condition that I couldn't get through with chains on all 4, it's not very fast but you will get where you want to go. If you are contemplating going wider then only go one size up, that way you won't throw your speedo off too much. Of course you could go crazy and do a suspension job on it then and stick some monster rubber on, then recalabrate the computer for it, but you will loose bottom end power. So keep it simple.
